The Beatles made trends, they didn't follow them: The Beatles were real, uh, trendsetters.
The Beatles were more diverse: They've dabbled in quite a variety of stuff. The Stones...Haven't. Not to say they quite deserve the 'blues cover band' comment I saw somewhere, but they stick to what they're good at. RS 1: So... RS 2: Listen to the riff in She Said She Said and then tell me the Beatles didn't have good riffs. RS 3: Lol. B 1: Jagger sang about what he knew, which was drugs, sex and booze. Nothing wrong with that. |
Taxman has like the most basic riff ever, and I'd take it over any Stones riff any day of the week.
|
Abbey Road and Revolver probably have the best Beatles riffs.
|
Sorry kid but mick aint the best front man in the world, not even close. Try listening to some deep durple, Led zeppelin and the firm, **** Plant alone can out sing him in his sleep.

Frontman , not singer
|
Robert Plant has one of the most grating voices on the planet.

The Firm?
Even this Jimmy Page fan has his limits. Quote:
I could easly name drop artists you listen to, but having done that god knows how many times I see no point in doing it again. |
If I wanted annoying wailing I'll listen to Bjork.
|
Oh now you're dissing Bjork. You're just WANTING to pick a fight with me now don't ya?. :bringit:
