Favorite AC/DC Album?
What's your favorite AC/DC album?
|
I'd have to say Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap, I like the australian release track listing better. 'Ride On' is one of my favorite AC/DC tracks ever and features not one, not two, but three incredible bluesy guitar solo's. Jailbreak is petty sweet too as it's original release was seen on the australian version of this album but was dropped for international releas for some strange reason.

I like Back in Black alot.
But I did get every AC/DC album right? |

Yes I did get the list off of wikipedia (for dates) But sometimes that damn site is'nt correct.
|
the one where they do something interesting
|
Powerage by a mile
|
And retarded post FTW!
Which album would that be BlueCadet? |

Because if there's a sacred cow nobody EVER goes after. It's AC/DC.
Back in Black. |
Highway to Hell with Bon Scott and Back in Black with Brian Johnson

AC/DC are pure rock and roll music very simple and increadably effective but when your in that mood nothing compares..hell of a live band too
|
that was really hard for me to pick. i went with "for those about to rock"
because i think it is the most consistently awesome of their records. i wanted to pick dirty deeds because of the several blistering solos on it, (especially squealer) but in my own head it's not as consistently great over all. a tie for close second would be dirty deeds and hiway to hell. |
Sorry for being predictable .. Back in Black!
It's also the world's most sold album by a band so I'm guessing it might win the poll. |
i like there first 3 with there orginal singer
High voltage Let there be rock Highway to hell because thoes are the only ones i have LOL |
Where the frig is 'If You Want Blood'? :( That wins by a mile. If not 'Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap' for Scott era and 'For Those About to Rock' for Johnson era.
|
There's an Australian version of Dirty Deeds Done Cheap too. T'has my favourite song, Rock in Peace. Awesome song but out of these albums I picked High Voltage. I love that '70s rock n roll!

i liked high way to hell because of "if you want blood you got it" or something like that.
|
hi my name is dan cooke I am new to this web site I am a big AC / DC fan I have all of their albums especially the bon scott era bon is the best
|
Highway to hell and High Voltage all the way :P
|
If You Want Blood....the best live album bar none.
|
"Let there be rock"-angus sounds like he strung his guitar with rusted barbwire.
...if the rest of the jailbreak e.p was as good as jailbreak I'd vote for that. |

Highway to Hell, easy.
|
The macabre tale goes like this. Bon, drunk out of his mind, watches Brian Johnson perform with his band in a dingy London pub with Angus, and in his stupor told him that if he were ever to die, he'd want Johnson to replace him. I CAN'T BELIEVE ANGUS TOOK HIM SERIOUSLY! AC/DC went from having one of the best front men, to...well, Brian Johnson. Best album, Highway to Hell, fav. songs, "It's a Long Way to The Top" and "Down Payment Blues".

In the absence of that, I voted Highway To Hell. |
Highway to Hell.
|
i think ballbreaker is great, but i love anyone, they are genious. Kind of simple composing but excelent music.
|
Let There Be Rock for me. I'd probably say Back In Back from the Johnson era.

I'm always trying to like AC/DC but never succeeded.
|
Most of the Bonn Scott era stuff and Back in Black. Let There Be Rock is the high point of the band (imo).
