I'm sorry, but this massacre is accurate in my opinion. I respect Zappa although i've never particularly liked his music, but Bowie fucking owns him

I love how bowie fans just completely ignore more than half his career when he was utter rubbish. Especially when comparing with someone whos quality never slipped.

it's all subjective really, I like choice albums from basically every period of Bowie's career and I am an 80's popster. At the same time i'm not qualified to pass judgment on the Zap post-'75, everything up 'til then is genius but it's just not for everybody. I don't like the sound of his 80's stuff though, like Miles Davis it sounds like he just succumbed to the zeitgeist, Bowie defined it (at least for a couple of albums)

I really don't understand the complaints.
I find it hard to live in a world where the Spice Girls are one of the best selling acts of all time...why do you think I come here!?

Is Bowie beating Zappa in a Final such a bad thing?

I think not!

The fact they both got to the finals shows they're both highly regarded as artists. I like'em both a lot, but my vote went to Bowie simply because I've known his music for a long time and that includes stuff from every decade he's had output in.

Moan moan moan. Bowie is winning, yay. So what? Bowie has already beaten Zappa once, and now the proggy fan boys dont like the fact that Zappa is getting trounced.

Does this whole poll actually mean anything? No. It's just a bunch of people voting for an artist. Just a bit of fun. If you want Zappa to win, vote for Zappa. If you want Bowie to win, vote for Bowie.

Make a modern music poll and see who wins and then have that winner face Bowie.
