Default Heat Sixteen: Battle of the Bands

Jimi Hendrix Experience:

Are you Experienced? If not, get the **** out of my thread

The Amboy Dukes:

Ted Nugent was in it, but they weren’t all that great to be honest.

Fleetwood Mac:

Going through many different changes from Blues to pop to pap Fleetwood Mac has it all. During an early Fleetwood Mac concert Peter Green was doing a guitar solo and Andy Powell before Wishbone Ash fame was so inspired he went onto the stage and hugged him.

The Bruthers:

Americans who can’t spell, there’s a surprise. Released one album in 1966 that is regarded as somewhat alright.

Rainbow:

Metal, Guitar, Heavy, are you going to play for me live? Pretention by Ritchie Blackmore.

The Experience and the Mac will go through, but balls to it, I went with The Bruthers anyway,

Bias towards blackmore on guitar and graham/dio on vocals...

I think we know where this vote is going. RAINBOW!

I have to go with Hendrix, who is probably my favourite artist ever.

The way this vote is going, one more vote for The Bruther could see them though

I think they were good. Journey to the Center of the Mind is a pretty sweet song. Really the only Ted Nugent material that's worth checking out.

Love perhaps, but do not deserve to be in the same poll. There by no means that good.

I only really like one Amboy Dukes song, their cover of Baby Please Dont Go, which is very sinister, but like some have said, I just dont get them.

Well you're wrong, especially when considering how they wipe the f*cking floor with all the other artists in the poll except Hendrix.

Though I don't care for the Peter Green stuff, sorry guys, and the Bob Welch stuff is pretty lame.

Mac begins with Nicks and Buckingham for me.
