By the way, there's supposed to be a release of the lost 1969 album by The Pretty Things, called Philippe DeBarge, I'm quite excited as I've never heard it. Get digging

That sounds pretty cool.

CCR is totally where it's at. John Fogarty has some cool riffs.

I really enjoy Yardbirds, but I think I'll go with The Pretty Things. S.F Sorrow is a brilliant album.

This is going to be so interesting to see how it develops. Yarbirds and Creedence Seemed to have it wrapped up for a second, now I'm not so sure.

Between Get the Picture?, Parachute, Bilboa Island, and the epic concept S.F. Sorrow, The Pretty Things win in my book. Mick Jagger and Keith Richards used to be in the band!

VDGG gets a nod from me for H to He as well...

Vdgg.

As a point of interest, CCR actually came from California. I'll be damned if they didn't sound like Southerners, though.

C'mon Pretty Things!

Comus 01-09-2009 08:54 PM

C'mon don't take it to a tie-breaker!
