Heat Two: Battle of the Bands
 

Uriah Heep:

Very heavy and very humble indeed, check out Demons and Wizards however they are incredibly, incredibly uneven. Lack of band stability and band members have made some very varied but nevertheless very cool sounding music.

Human Beast:

With only one recording, aptly named Volume One released in 1970 Human Beasts is one of the more obscure bands I’ve never really heard of. Psychedelic rock, should check it out and I hope you do too.

Bob Seger (and the Silver Bullet Band)

Check out his Mid-70’s solo work and that with the Silver Bullet Band, I’ve never personally been acquainted with him properly. Would want fans to expand on my limited points.

The Who:

It’s the ****ing Who, if you like to be independent and hip check out their early work if you like to be bored by music that was so much better than it is now check out their later stuff like Who’s Next.

Jefferson Airplane:

Extremely influential psychedelic band that does not really need an introduction, a shoe in for the next round.

I can't believe the fucking who are winning.

So are jefferson airplane, the best two progress.

I voted The Who. They're a great band, one of the only classic rock bands I'm into.

The you have no idea how fucking good the Who were.

I'm actually a really rather big fan of the Who, but I listened to who's next a few weeks ago and it just wasn't what I remembered, I still love their early stuff though, and none of their music is bad.

I love JA...but I take the Who.

i never really got the who. They just bore the crap out of me.

It's not that they're boring, I like The Who. They're just not NEARLY as good as people say they are... Same with Zep

haha I spelled it as it was nominated tbh,I've noticed the mistake but cba to fix it. Ie, it was right in the actual post because that was a later edit while I was writing it up.

Uriah Heep are the underdog, and if it weren't for The Who, I'd vote for them.
