Well I was thinking post 1975 so the Sex Pistols/Damned/etc. also get included. Because they do not fit in the first one.

I now have my clear favourites, I don't have any mixed emotions about who to vote for anymore, it is clear; failure to comply with my way of thinking will result in me taking over the forum in a coup and declaring marshal law.......where all fans of prog rock will be shipped off to attend every single American Idol audition FOREVER

This could be a hard choice. Tangerine Dream are one of my favs and they are going to miss out. How I will select between King Crimson and The Velvet Underground, if it comes to that, goodness only knows.

So far we have had 25 round one polls, 10 round two polls, 4 quarter final polls and two tiebreakers, that's 41 polls made by yours truly, if there are no tiebreakers. we'll have a total of 44 polls. Of course that would be 45 If I decide to take the two best ranked from the final to go into a 2 band poll.

The Who and Soft Machine go to a tiebreaker before the semi finals start.
