All it needs, is somebody with some desire to go for it.

I'm seriously mulling this over. I need to gets my posts first. So how many bands are we talking about and how many per bracket?

To understand the bracket rules, a degree in rocket science is required. My advice to you is to interpret it how you want or do it how you want.

I'm sure we could give you ideas though.

Since this is gonna be a Classic Rock battle, all I ask for is a cut off year. Then I'll only use artists/bands that released an album the prior year or before.

That's up to you, but you could say some time in the 1990s.

Also you could do it by decade as an idea.

I know what I'm about to do. Give me a bout a week or so to work on this and I'll have something up.

Well we've waited a year, so another week's not going to make a difference.

I'm interested in doing this unless somebody else is, it's a great idea just needs the right execution. I'd do it bracket march madness style. I'll be releasing the names in random groups of 8, and if anyone disagrees they can select their own candidate! I'll be using both single person and bands; a person can be in both if their solo career is worthy enough

Edit: I will be pretty liberal with what I consider rock
