Wait, you guys don't like the Doors? You guys are crazy!

Don`t group me with the rest of them!!! I pretty much think of the Doors as one of the best groups in the history of rock and Jim Morrison as the best vocalist that ever lived.

Their opening trilogy of albums "The Doors" "Strange Days" and "Waiting for the Sun" along with "LA Woman" as four of the best rock albums ever recorded............and yes I have these as remastered editions.

I agree, but I would throw Morrison Hotel in there as well.

Its a very good album but I wouldn`t say its a strong as the four I`ve listed. But its still an important album, as it was a return to form for the group after the mish mash of The Soft Parade (even though I like some stuff on that album)

Actually, I thought L.A. Woman was rather boring, but I guess I just didn't like the fact they were evolving into a more blues-oriented band...

Subjective opinion I know, but calling Morrison the best vocalist to ever live is a big stretch. He was always kinda flat to me.. I think his vocals can be kinda boring myself... but too each their own, different strokes for different folks.

I could see people thinking he was at least amongst the best frontmen to ever live, i will say as a front man he was good, he had a stage presence to him, and could get a crowd worked up... but as a vocalist, he was not that special... worked in the confines of the music itself, but that is all.
