To be honest, I think "With The Beatles" is a great pop album-especially in the context of contemporary music in 1963.
Ok, there is some dross-(Little Child, Hold me Tight), but there are some great Lennon-McCartney originals -All My Loving, It Won`t be Long, Not a Second Time and the best ever versions of Please Mr Postman, Money and You really got a hold on me. Personally, I think "Beatles for Sale" was far weaker.
