Since You Been Gone is an awful track. Early stuff like 'Starstruck' is great. 'Rising' is a genuine classic. quite a feat considering I can't stand Ritchie Blackmore.

Big fan of Rainbow's work between '75 and '78. Feels like I came close to wearing out my old vinyl copy of "Long Live Rock 'n' Roll"; although I don't think I ever had one truly favorite song from the band.

Rainbow Rising and Long Live Rock n Roll are classic and would argue were the first 2 power metal release. Eveybody knows about Blackmore and Dio, but Cozy Powel was phenomenal, too. In fact, I swear he does some double-bass kicks on Rising, making that first in metal as well.
