Who of the following three rock 'n' roll legends from the 50s deserve the title "The King of Rock and Roll"?
Elvis Presley Chuck Berry Little Richard EDIT: A lot of people seem to be misunderstanding the purpose of this thread. I was talking about the 50s rock stars who have been called "The King of Rock'n'Roll", and no one else. To my knowledge no other musicians active in the 50s have been given that title.

I say Elvis, because you hear way more about him then the other two. I doubt Chuck Berry or Little Richard dying would get as much of a reaction as it did when Elvis died.
But then again, Elvis died in '77.

There should be an option for all of them plus more.
Elvis is the King because they call him the King, several people should be credited though, after all it took several genres merging to create Rock and Roll. Without any of which the sum of it's collective parts would not be what it is today. So sick of people bashing Elvis with no concept of how big his impact was.

I meant it to be a multiple options poll, sorry about that guys.
I wasn't aware that those two have ever been called kings of rock 'n' roll. I admit I might've slept through some of my English classes.

Is that really rock n' roll though? I mean, I admire those guys, but I would never consider them part of rock n' roll.
I think there is a definite list, but Monkey certainly didn't cover enough.
