Has Robert Plant ever been called "The King of Rock 'n' Roll"? This poll is about who deserves the title, out of those who have been called it.

The song-writer from Good Charlotte, whatever his name is.

up until ragtime

what all kinds of music did we have?

classical

opera

folk/tribal

gospel

i cant think of any more

anyway

it was Scott Joplin that started the whole ragtime genre
(btw, ragtime was the first american genre)

which gave birth to damn near every genre we listen to today

so i vote for Scott Joplin to be King of Ragtime
(he already holds that title)

AND King of Rock & Roll

Chuck Berry deserves the nod from the three choices given; however as mighty as kings are...they still have to bow down to gods (Lennon and Hendrix get the double duke on that front).

that is a bold statement you might have copied and pasted from People Online! How'd you reason this one out?
