When I voted in this poll ages ago. I HAD to vote for Chuck Berry.
He gets credit for writing his own songs during a time when many artists weren't.

Elvis is just Britney Spears of the 1950s
Unless you believe the story of him steeling Johnny B Goode from his brother.

Ive seen this movie myself but never thought there was any truth to the Johnny B. Goode scene. I got the whole connection when he says he's his brother Marvin Berry but I just thought it was for laughs.

Terence Hill, as recently confirmed during an interview to an Italian TV talk-show, was offered the role but rejected it because he considered it "too violent". Dustin Hoffman and John Travolta declined the role for the same reason. When Al Pacino was considered for the role of John Rambo, he turned it down when his request that Rambo be more of a madman was rejected.
Al Pacino = God
