i don't know why it wasn't a success ... i think the failure of the movie really did damage the album.

Magical Mystery Tour always does it for me really. Underrated by all means, that. 'Twould be hard to find a melody better than Fool on the Hill around.

I love the melodies to "Fool on the Hill" (and "Nowhere Man") but I didn't care much for the lyrics, because I thought they were sad and self-deprecating.

Revolver, the White Album feels "hollow" to me. it's still great though, don't get me wrong.
