John Lennon was an alleged individual. One would be geared toward the notion that Yoko wasn't "controlling" of him, per se, but that he found more identification with Yoko than he did with the Beatles. To me, I took it that a lot of people didn't understand that the way I always believed it.

...Yeah he had to be. Let's face it, Harrison wasn't churning out nearly as many songs as McCartney/Lennon even if they were the same quality, if not higher, when he did churn out the songs. And Ringo? C'mon. John Lennon was too drugged out he needed to be controlling if they wanted to get anything done.

It's got some of the best Beatles tracks ever (and btw, Paul was right...Let It Be...Naked was better) but all in all it really isn't as cohesive as their prior works. Maybe the fact that they grew so despondent with each other at the time played into the mix. It sure as hell beats out Yellow Submarine.
