exactly. if john had decided not to become a drug addict and had not screwed up his own affairs, paul wouldn't have needed to have been so domineering.

Tough for me between Sgt. Pepper's and The White album but here goes
The White Album
Sgt. Peppers
Rubber Soul
Revolver
Abbey Road
and well then all the rest

True, but the other members have said that they feel Paul was too controlling, and that that was a factor in their breakup.

John Lennon was an alleged individual. One would be geared toward the notion that Yoko wasn't "controlling" of him, per se, but that he found more identification with Yoko than he did with the Beatles. To me, I took it that a lot of people didn't understand that the way I always believed it.

...Yeah he had to be. Let's face it, Harrison wasn't churning out nearly as many songs as McCartney/Lennon even if they were the same quality, if not higher, when he did churn out the songs. And Ringo? C'mon. John Lennon was too drugged out he needed to be controlling if they wanted to get anything done.

If you look at it that way, Paul ran the Beatles like Manson ran the family.

sad thing is...i was so torn between abbey road and the white album, and let it be.and well i love the ****in beatles so its hard to pick one album

Let It Be is really growing on me, I'm surprised it doesn't have any votes.

It's got some of the best Beatles tracks ever (and btw, Paul was right...Let It Be...Naked was better) but all in all it really isn't as cohesive as their prior works. Maybe the fact that they grew so despondent with each other at the time played into the mix. It sure as hell beats out Yellow Submarine.

Definitely Sgt. Pepper.
