Live Yardbirds featuring Jimmy Page - For Zep fans, this is the Holy Grail as you can hear the band form in this performance, which by the way rivals the Who's Live at Leeds (before it was expanded), Kick Out the Jams, or any other pre-punk album, in sheer intensity and energy. For you youngster that have never been impressed with Jimmy Page, you can witness what all the hype was about early in his career as he plays very fast, loose and at times, out of tune! Essential.

Seconded. It's hard to get ahold of a copy for cheaper than 50 bucks (Page pulled it out of print a long time ago), but it's easy to find online if you just want a listen. It's blisteringly raw.

Echo what everyone else has said, but just thought I'd throw Zoot Money into the mix
