That is totally untrue. Eric Clapton, Buddy Guy, Duane Allman, Derek Trucks, Robert Randolph, and so many more guitarists have unique styles that aren't repetetive. What makes their styles unique is guitar sound (as sounds on a guitar come basically from how you use your fingers) and their own unique sense of phrasing.

Yea, Santana's style is very repetetive.....after a while I have to stop listening to him...but he's definately good.

That is a very good album, but BY FAR Abraxas, Santana's second album is his best. (imo) I suggest trying that one, and you might like him even more.

Carlos Santana has some of the best dynamics on guitar Ive heard. And like SRV, He seems to never 'dry up' as to say when playing guitar. Simply, a legend.

Santana was a headline band at WoodStock in the 60s. One of the few legends still rock'in from that era.
