Just recently started listening to more of Lynyrd Skynyrd and they are pretty good. However, Simple Man seems to be a worn out tune for most acoustic bands. When will I stop hearing covers of this?
Also, Freebird... Besides those two songs one of my favorites so far is Tuesday's Gone. Good ****, maynard.

Very true Staropramen! Since I've been getting into them I've noticed quite a few excellent songs untouched. People really stray away from unknown and stick to the few popular ones, huh?
It's a shame.

Lynyrd Skynyrd appeared on the Old Grey Whistle Test in 1975. I really thought they put on a great performance, I really like the acoustics, the sound quality of the studio. I saw the show in length on cable, and found some videos on youtube (some vids on youtube have lo-eq.)
Did anyone else see Skynyrd on OGWT, what do you think of it?
