Yeah, as everyone has said...I love Simple Man. Great lyrics and nice solo...I think but Skynyrd really isnt my style but I still like them. I loved Freebird after I heard it in the last part of the Devil's Rejects.

well, i grew up in the most redneck white trash yankee place there could possibly be, and there was sooo much skynyrd played on every radio there they turned a great band into something i got real tired of. it's kind of like getting ripped off. they are great, but i'm so sick of hearing their stuff it's not even funny. but that makes me think of another really awesome southern rock band. i'll have to make an exploratory post and see who likes them.

I like Skynyrd.
But if a redneck asks me about them, I'll talk trash about them and see what happens, just for fun. You gotta be careful though, dishing Skynyrd in the state of Tennessee is very dangerous. |

My uncle was a big Skynyrd fan and he adopted Simple Man as a nickname. So when he passed away, we played that song at his funeral.
