Yeah, I just don't like the bashing, but it's good that you do bash a bit, musical taste is such a personal thing. There is not a single band out there that someone doesn't love and someone else doesn't hate.

At least you love the Beatles and Beach Boys two of my other top 20 bands ever. Did you Brian Wilson's and Mike Love's Nephew is one of the top college basketball recruits in the country...Kevin Love.

Well he's not a recruit anymore, he's now attending UCLA. He'll likely be a top draft prospect soon though.

Right, he is an incoming Freshman though, so technically a recruit still. No longer a college prospect, but a pro one as you noted.

You know you bitch about Brian Wilson's lyrics so much and hold it against me but i've never praised him as a lyrical genius. He knew he wasn't good either. Thats why Tony Asher did a good deal of the writing on Pet Sounds, a fact you ignored the whole time we argued about the album and you kept saying his lyrics were shit when they weren't even his.
You should have made it more clear that it was a joke. I won't get into the lyrics, but I was talking about Plant's voice...Page stole very few riffs.

Proggy I still think you are MHDTV, but both of you are cool if not, however you do seem like a slightly less volatile\confrontational MHDTV.

Thanks, I like you to! How old are you anyway? Was reading the thread where you talked about all the concerts you went to. I don't mind who you think I am really. Wouldn't change your opinion of me would it?

You won't get into the lyrics because you're wrong and you're too caught up in getting the last word to admit it. So you make vague statements like "I won't get into it" like you know what you're talking about because you can't admit you were wrong, I understand.

I said that because this isn't the right thread for it...And how am I wrong about the lyrics, the discussion was the Beach Boys, not Brian Wilson.

Nope, we all have a certain right to ambiguity here anyways. Mostly just give who you are a hard time, I am 51 years old by the by and a very young 51. I have kids, one almost twice your age (if you're 14) and will be a grandfather very very soon. I've loved music since my Mom used to take me to R&B clubs to watch my Dad's band play.

My mom's 51. But I'm American. Never been to anything but folk festivals...
