One of my favorite artists.

Cortez the Killer is my all time favorite song, then Mr. Soul and Southern Man.

Any album reccomendations to perhaps get into his music?
As a serious Smiths fan I would recommend 'Ragged Glory'..not because it sounds anything like the Smiths but it has some classic guitar driven Young.

Alternatively try Mirror Ball ...(throw your hatred down is my alltime YOUNG favourite..but NOBODY elses!!!)

neither of these descends into CountryYoung ... nothing wrong with that but perhaps not the best point at which to start

These are the Neil Young albums I own:

Rust Never Sleeps
Tonight's the Night

Zuma
Everybody Knows This is Nowhere
Live Rust
After the Goldrush
Freedom
American Stars 'N Bars
Weld
Harvest Moon
Harvest
Ragged Glory
Comes a Time
Massey Hall 1971
Live at the Filmore East
Sugar Mountain - Live at Canterbury House 1968
Chrome Dreams II
Living With War
Prairie Wind
Time Fades Away (.mp3)

I need a serious opinion on which album to buy next--I do not plan on owning every Neil Young album, as I do with Bob Dylan, but I do think there are probably a few more worth owning. Of course, I do not know which, and I'm getting into territory where it's hard to find downloadable versions to try out.
I assume you now own Mirror Ball
