the second disc is mostly different takes of the first disc
still think you're better off with the single Expanded Edition disc the deluxe edition only has about 4 songs not on the Expanded Edition |

don't get the "Deluxe" Edition, the link to the one you showed me the single disc with the extra tracks should be the 1995 edition, if I'm not mistaken i just don't think it's worth it to get both the stereo AND the mono mix if you do want to splurge on a Deluxe Edition, get "Who's Next" 2-disc - the second disc is a brill live performance, and the outtakes are all essentials |

Funny you should say that, becuase I found an INCREDIBLE deal on Amazon about a week ago for Whos Next deluxe edition in very good condition for about 6 bucks with shipping. Still waiting for it to arrive, but what a deal eh? So do you think 6 bucks is a good deal on the expanded edition of Who Sell Out? Also, one more question, I've already bought Whos Next and LaL, which Who album do you think I should buy next? (mostly between Who Sell Out, Tommy and Quadrophenia) |

most people seem to think Tommy's too theatrical and overrated, but it sounds fine to me (it could do without "Underture", though) Quadrophenia is great - though some people think it's pompous others you should check out - Who Are You and Face Dances (this is again a very divisive album, but I think it's their last great album) i didn't like By Numbers much and I'm in the minority about It's Hard (most people hate it) but it sounds fine to me avoid "Endless Wire" at all costs, Roger sounds as if he's about to choke on his own vomit and all the songs are "recycled" (they sound like the Who's best songs redone) and if you want a good solo project - check out Pete Townshend's Empty Glass (arguably the most Who-sounding of his efforts) - avoid all of Daltrey's solo stuff, though, they're beyond sucky |
