John Fogerty is great. Apart from his songwriting skills, he is like Layne Staley in that he just can't be replaced. He has a great voice.

I've always loved John Fogerty. His music has influenced me since I was young. At first, I wasn't into him and CCR, but a couple songs made me change mind about that. "Centerfield" was the first song that made me like him. I was listening to that song recently on Napsterlinks, and it brought back so many childhood memories that I'd never thought I'd remember.
