I don't see Van Halen getting back together. They did play some great music.

So what do you guys think of Van Halen? I think their debut is a pretty damn good guitar album. Fun rock music. 1984 was pretty good. Do they have any other good albums I should get?

Van Halen I
Van Halen II
1984
5150
OU812
For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge

These are the only ones worth getting, the first three are with David Lee Roth and the second three with Sammy Hagar.

The only other two that could be worth looking at are:

Women and Children First
Right Here, Right Now (a live album)

Its the group attempting to put more progressive elements into their sound and its an album that constantly gets talked about as being vastly underrated, personally I think its a load of rubbish!

If you see it for a couple of $ it might be worth buying to satisfy your curiosity. Also, its only about 30 mins long as well, very short for a non-punk album of that era.

Why not? They`re great examples of pop metal! Especially with songs like "Dreams" and "Love Walks in".
