Yep. Though Stones still kick ass when they play live. The Who should have stopped when Keith died. Any other examples? Beach Boys is kinda joke nowadays. And so on.
But those are bands which has members already in their seventies...

Agree

That is true because some of my favorite artists are not great great musicians.

I just don't think its fair how the RHOF snub more superior musicians and artists. I think other bands should have been inducted before KISS that are constantly overlooked.

It's an abomination that a mediocre face-painting band like Kiss has been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame before any of the deserving and talented artists on the list below:

Sonic Youth
Gram Parsons
The Smiths
Link Wray
Dick Dale
Kraftwerk
Son House
Kate Bush
MC5
Pixies
Joy Division
Chic
Roxy Music
Nick Drake

Again, I'll stick up for the early KISS albums, and even a couple later ones, as good straight-ahead rock.

But I will agree with you on something else. The "Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame" is in my opinion a completely irrelevant, immaterial, utter, complete joke. I will never ever set foot in the place. I'd even go to a Walmart before I went to the RHOF.

Oh stop it!

The RHOF is a popularity contest and based off the opinion of one man. The fact of the matter is there are more deserving bands that should have been inducted before KISS period.

Nobody cares about the Rock n Roll hall of fame.
It's just an excuse for people in the industry to slap themselves on the back and have a free booze up.
It's a total insignificance and whether a band is in it or not should make no difference whatsoever to your enjoyment of that band.
