Anyway , what I was getting at was , you must have seen how many punk kids there are in the punk forum saying how the velvets were the first punk band blah blah blah.

How many of those kids who like bands like Green Day & Offspring do you actually think listen to something like Venus In Furs or Sister Ray & think OMG THIS ROXXXXXXX LOLOLOLOLOL!!!!!!!!

I don`t , their music was pretty basic.

/\ Yeha I heard someone say in an interview once they were trying to do a phil spector thing with as few instruments as possible. Sooo that seems pretty simplisitc to me.
