No rock n roll band of their day can even compete on that scale.

The biggest things of the 1970s were

KISS, ABBA, Led Zeppelin and Star Wars.

Sorry, but the bands you listed dont even come close.

Okay, so how much records a band sold decides how influencial and talented they were? Jeez Britney Spears must be one of the most influencial artists ever then!

Laces Out Dan! 04-08-2006 06:42 PM

I'd say KISSes longevity is proof enough of their influence.

Dimebag had Ace Frehley tatood on his chest, not Frank Zappa.

Kurt Cobain put a picture of KISS on the rear cover of Nevermind, not Lynrd Skinnard.

KISS is easily the most influential band of the 1970s, save for Led Zeppelin.
That's a fact. what you think of them is merely your opinion.

LOL k.
Simmons>>>Bowie.
Frehley>>>Hendrix.
KISS>>Rush

I get it, sorry for my ignorance on the subject. I now see how how much records a band sells proves their talent, and even though you rarely argued my posts just through more useless fun facts at me, you're still right. Once again I apologize.

Its getting slightly annoying. How you really havn't argued any of the points i'm making and all you've done is thrown out stupid fun facts at me that don't prove anything.

but you have no argument. All you have is your opinion.

Okay you think KISS sucks. So What?

The fact is they are the most influential band of the 1970s, aside from Led Zeppelin.

Your opinion really doesnt mean sqaut when it's facts we're discussing.
