Its a fact the biggest things in the 70s were KISS, Led Zep and lightweight like ABBA and Bee Gees.

Velvet Underground??? nobody cared.

disagree?? too bad.
The biggest things in 1990 were The Backstrret Boys and Britney Spears. I do agree with you, KISS were one of the most popular bands of the 70s. So what? That means little to their influence and abilities. My mom liked KISS.

Really? What other bands do that?
Beside sold out arena rock shows in the 80's, with Glam Rock bands who had no musical talent, so they hid it with pyrotechnics, I have never seen a band stoop to impersonating clowns to sell concert tickets.

I think that Television had a HUGE impact on rock history. I would bet they never opened for KISS.

And that affects their music how?
It really shows that you know sh*te about music when you think that a bands ability to get laid, affects the quality of the music they produce. This is basically what you said

"Television did not have an enourmous impact on rock music because they couldn't get laid"

That makes perfect sense genius.

I'm sure Richard Hell had sex with more legal aged women than Gene ever has.
