in your opinion. The best bands of the 70s were the ones opening up the show for KISS. RUSH The Scorpions Aerosmith Black Sabbath Iron Maiden Judas Priest AC/DC Bob Segar Cheap Trick Johnny Winter Ted Nugent et al. all opened for KISS |
Well who`s opinion do you think we`re referring to , Kofi Annans ?

Wasn't Sabbath, Doors, Beatles, Stones, Who, Skynyrd, Clapton all going in the 70s? But we all know Kiss pwnz them in influenciality and skill and are just better!

Wasn't Led Zeppelin's first album released in 69? Even if they did have work in the 70s going by your logic they weren't a 70s band.

I believe Zep I came out in 68.
Zep was the only rock band as big as KISS during the 1970s, and even then, KISS made way more cash than Zep. In 1978 KISS made 118 Million dollars. No rock n roll band of their day can even compete on that scale. The biggest things of the 1970s were KISS, ABBA, Led Zeppelin and Star Wars. Sorry, but the bands you listed dont even come close. |
