In fact, there last live performance was in the 60s

And Let It Be is hardly their most influential album.

So what?

They werent a touring band for the latter half of the 60s, but does that make the music they made during that period insignificant?... Of course it dosent.

Thats not ebonics you moron. KISS is a glitter band, and thats all the'll ever be known as. They had a good SHOW. Not good MUSIC. And they didnt influence anyone but your sad self.

wrong again. KISS was not part of the glitter scene which was more like Bowie being trans-genderish.
At first KISS kinda was, but once they got the black leather and white/black make-up on breathing fire onstage and drooling blood, it had little to do with Bowie-style Glitter rock.

Since each band I am about to mention put out material in the 70's, does that still make them less influential than KISS?

Pink Floyd
Bob Dylan
The Beatles
The Rolling Stones
Queen
Rush
Sex Pistols
Jimi Hendrix
David Bowie
Johnny Cash
