I'm not quite sure why my thread about the songs left off Exile On Mainstreet has been directed to a thread about the Rolling Stones in general, but whatever.......

Unless you're writing an album review or something like that most bands only have one thread.

So a continued thread about anything concerning one band? That must really make the reader have to sift through the entire thread to find a reply to their observation then.....

Default For Those Stone's Fans The RRHOF........

There is going to be an extensive exhibit at the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame presenting the career of the Rolling Stones. It's suppose to encompass two floors in the building. For those who are close it might be nice to take in with the rest of the exhibits.

I've never been there but I feel like I should have by now considering I live within a reasonable distance of it.

They are by far one of my Favorited bands. Everything they do just has a magic about it. My favorite song by them is "You Got the Silver". So much soul in that song and Kief has a great voice

Default Who Is Going To See That Band You Know The Rolling Geezers

It looks like we may be bracing for a North American invasion of the grandfather's of rock this Summer. Who here is planning to go see them? I'm torn to paying a over priced amount for my ticket. Having to endure a hot day out in the sun with endless lines to get to my seat to watch some guys who were in their prime 40 years ago......Even though it would be a nice trophy to have said I'd seen them the amount of trouble involved and quality of show may not be worth it............

Glad I got to see them a few times before they decided to jack up their ticket prices to laughably ridiculous (IMO) levels.
The Stones (and all the other overhyped, overpriced, big name acts) lost me as a paying customer when their ticket prices went over 50 dollars (US) per ticket.
These days I stick to the small theaters and clubs where tickets are usually between 20 to 40 dollars and you have a shot at great seats for those prices.
I recently had front row center for Billy Joe Shaver at a club for $25
Saw Robby Krieger's Jazz Kitchen from a front row table for $25
Also got second row (slightly left of center) for The Residents for $30
And just got front row center for Sonny Landreth for $28
Lots of great bands out there playing small venues who don't gouge their fans.
