Think it`s worth pointing out that the Brian Jones era Stones were very different from the Mick Taylor (or post Brian) version.
Around the time of "Sticky Fingers" (which is a great album) they evolved into perhaps the first modern era rock-as opposed to pop-band. And much as I love The Beatles, if you don`t love, I mean really love the Stones, then maybe Rock music just isn`t for you. |

I think they'd be alot more influential amongst guitarist if Keef didn't use so many open tunings. Most songs rock songs are in the standard EADGBE tuning, but Keith Richards seems to use a different tuning for every song.

All Those Songs The Stones Left Off Exile....
After listening to all the songs that the Stones left off Exile in my opinion some of them were better then the finished product. What do you Stone's fans think about the lost songs?

The Rolling Stones...I like a LOT of their songs, but dammit if they don't annoy me a bit anyway. I've never been a fan of their so-called big 4 albums, rather I'm a fan of a lot of the singles and I think "Aftermath" is their best album. Plus their earliest albums are the most fun. Frankly, The Singles Collection is all I really need. Don't think I haven't tried hard enough, though, I've been listening to them frequently for about 4-5 years.
