Well opinions being what they are, I don't think its the best solo, but the live version has a decent solo, still not #1 though. Average is a rough term, because I factor in all the neo-hippies I see here in college town playing their crappy acoustics and covering Dave matthews, Tom petty, and Sublime as music, and its always rough. I give the eagles credit for writting the songs, cause Take it easy isn't that bad of a song. Again, god knows what you like, but we can all appreciate good music, even if we don't like it...well, some of us can.

Default Eagles Show

Went to this "Music of the Eagles" show at Jones Hall here in Houston. I went mainly because I wanted to hear how the Houston Syphony Orchestra would sound playing southern-ish pop rock.

But the bloody Syphony hardly played at all! It was just an Eagles cover band backed by a string section and a brass section about the size of my thumb!
