About 95% of what I listen to is classic rock. I can't get enough of it. Personally, I think it's better than the **** we have out now. Back in the days, those guys (and girls) knew how to play; especially guitar. They ripped out great leads and riffs that just amazed the hell out of you. It was true music like that that kept everything going. Now, most bands just do it for the money. It's sad really. I'd definately have to say that my favorite band is The Beatles. I say The Beatles because I absolute love them. They were the first band I ever heard when I was younger. I saw Ringo five times and Paul twice. The Beatles had true talent. They started off simple and got more complex as time went on. Their leads blow my mind sometimes. Such as "While My Guitar Gently Weeps", is truly amazing. I don't think that George Harrison gets enough credit as a lead guitarist. Sometimes John gets too much. And my next favorite band is The Daveclark Five. I love all British Invasion music on top of oldies. I do think that classic rock is a genre in itself. You can't not deny it's there. Blocking it out is so pointless.
