Today I went out and loaded up on some albums with my Christmas $. Check out what I got, all for under 20 bucks.
The Who - Tommy Peter Frampton - The Millenium Collection Pink Floyd - Relics The Steve Miller Band - Greatest Hits Tool - Undertow Wayne's World Soundtrack 6 cds for under 20 bucks! I was so happy. You gotta love used cd stores.

You know what rush song I've always liked, and ti felt a little disjointed but still have a pretty nice vocal melody in the refrain: Freewill. When geddy says "I will choose a path thats clear, I will choose freewill"
I like the tonal inflection.

There are several songs from the 60s that are in a heavy metal like format, not really metal, but they could qualify as proto metal or songs that influenced metal in some way or another...Songs like.
