Fire On the Mountain and This Ol' Cowboy are my favorites.

Southern Rock is a great genre.

i got this ol' cowboy, its pretty good. I never realized that they sung ghost riders in the sky, I remember that song from when I was a little kid. I wouldn't have gotten anything by them if it weren't for watching the movie blow, and hearing can't you see. It's still my favorite by marshall tucker band. Any of you guys like peter frampton by chance?

Nope, I haven't heard any of Frampton's stuff. One of my friends is real big on him, I'll borrow a couple of albums from him.

Lately I've been listening to Exile On Main Street by The Stones a bunch. It's a great album, The Stone's best IMO.

A good album, but nowhere near the best IMO. Out of our heads is great because of satisfaction alone, also play with fire, the last time, and under assistant west coast promotion man. Beggar's banquet and let it bleed are probably my favorites. I think gimmie shelter is one of their best songs ever, probly my most favorite. I've got a lot of stuff by the stones, mostly their older stuff though the late 70s to 80s stuff doesnt appeal to me much, except for a few songs like shattered and others...

Oh yeah if you look into frampton try to get the album frampton comes alive. Listen to do you feel like we do, it's great, and he does some talking guitar in it, like what you hear in rocky mountain way by joe walsh if you are familiar with that song...

Does anybody remember how cool Ricky Steamboat used to be?

Oh sorry, I got so bored reading this thread and the 10,000 others just like it my mind began to wander

He was BAD ASS though!

Well, looking at the front page, I see about 3 other Classic rock related threads and they deal with specific bands. I don't think 4 semi-related threads merit an over exaggeration of that sort.

Does anyone else like the album Days of Future Passed by The Moody Blues? It's a great concept album, not to mention it's backed by The London Festival Orchestra.
