Hey man, don't trash LOTR, it's the greatest epic of good vs. evil in the history of mankind.....well, that may be overstating it, but it's still awesome as hell. i mean, who doesn't want to be a wizard?? You know you want to walk around witha badass staff and screw with people. Anyway, coming back on topic, i love Zeppelin and since i love LOTR also, it's even more cool that they have songs about it, like Battle of Evermore. Battle of Evermore = best intro and awesome acoustic and mandolin playing.

yeah bands sure suck when radio stations nationwide still play their songs when some of them are 40+years old. Do you really think 40 years from now radion stations will be playing slipknot songs? give me a break

Tough choice between Zep & Floyd, but I went for the Pink

I like the Who and Stones as well, not really into AC/DC

cmon kash... come on all you guys.... lay off the new rock. sure classic rock is what it is... classic rock... but you're basically saying that classic rock is the only real good music and trying to discredit new music. f' that. I'd take new stuff anyday before i sit back and play old regurgetated **** for hours on end. new music is fresh and creative and progressive, it keeps the rock scene alive and filled with new ideas so that the art may live on. i like new music... and yes... radio stations WILL be playing new music in 40 years... we are in a time of crisis kash... the world is in a state of unrest history tells us that war+social unrest+conflict=good music.

Agreed.

Zeppelin cheesy?... If you consider LOTR cheesy maybe (i dont)...But then again, i find most metal cheesy (even when i like it), so its all a matter of opinion.
