I agree that Page is more versatile, versatlity however is just one element in being one of the best, playing electric and accoustic guitars dosent automaticly make you a very versatile player...Jimi Hendrix did stick to one style, but he was fantastic at it, the thing about page, is that he trys very hard not to do the same thing over again, which is why hes always trying something different rather than sticking to a certain trademark style, hendrix had one, he was more influencial and groundbreaking, and for many reasons...Plus he was much less sloppy live, which is impressive when considering that his solos were pretty complex for his time...Page made no where as many innovations musicaly or technicaly, sure he did do things, such as his complex overdubs for songs like Song Remains The Same and Ten Years Gone, and being a big influence on metal guitarists...None the less, my vote goes to Hendrix.
PS.Please dont bring up the violin bow thing, Page wasnt the first to do that, Eddie Phillips was.
