Talking Thoughts on AC/DC

I reckon they were a revolutionary band.. possibly the first good aussie band ever. As an aussie, i guess im a bit biased, but i love 'em!!! There's a new movie out, Thunderstruck, about a group of AC/DC fans... im gonna see it as soon as i can. BUT ITS MA Anyway, post your thoughts on them.
PS 'i love long way to the top'

Cool

i know this is an oldish thread, but i was gonna start my own AC/DC thread.

I also think they are a great band, and certainly changed the way ppl looked at music. i have no doubt that without them, and a few other great rock bands...eg. Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Motorhead....then todays music wouldn't be as good as it is!

I mean, come on u guys, Angus Young was about 15 or summat when they realeased their debut album. That must not only of required skill, which they have a hell of alot of, but it must have also taken alot of BALLS!!!!!!!!

they certainly siezed the day (carpe diem)

i am also an aussie and have a large respect for this band. though not the first great aussie band ever. that is insolent to think that. have a look at earlier times. and that movie is ****. not worth seeing-as most aussie movies. but a good band

I love ac/dc, they were one of my favorite bands/my favorite band for a long time. I prefer their early stuff my self personally. They just didn't sound quite the same without Bon Scott. I donno though, they get a little boring after a while, a lot of their stuff sounds very similar, but over all I think their a great band.

She was a fast machine, she kept her motor clean..

Good song. I like ACDC a lot, they're a great band. Led Zepp is great too.

Default AC/DC is a great band

You've gotta respect any band that can play good music for over 30 years. Their older stuff is good, but you've gotta give Brian Johnson credit for what he's done too. It's not an easy job taking over for a much-loved singer, but I think he's done a pretty good job of it, and his voice fits in with the AC/DC sound. I saw them in 2001 at the olympic stadium in Munich, and they rocked hard.
