I personally don't have much respect for bands that have albums that range from mediocore to shit but, have great live shows.

Well Motley Crue`s total U.S. album sales is 23 million , taking into account their worldwide sales & they fact that nobody was dumb enough to buy any of their albums post 1990 i`d say that them going quadruple platinum on each of their first 5 albums was possible.

Quad platinum is what, 4 million? The first 5 albums add up to 20 million, then(if they did in fact go quadruple platinum). With 3 million for everything after that?

maybe that 3 million bought the huge number of greatest hits albums they knocked out on a regular basis throughout the 90s
