 C'mon man, it was just Bungalo Bill. And what can I say, that man just has it in for you. It is stupid though, if you don't like CR, then you shouldn't post in the CR thread!

Is there anyone else out there who agrees or is it just me? Slipknot and the Beatles just dont seem to me like they should share the same forum.

Nor should Mahavishnu Orchestra and Weezer share the same forum, which is what i have been saying forever. ;)

Im ok with combining classic rock and prog in one forum.......As long as no one starts calling AC/DC and Lynyrd Skynyrd prog.

Hahaha......STFU
I do like classic rock......at least some.
I'm very much so allowed to say that it is overrated.
I even believe that I pointed out which classic rock bands I like as well.
And now matter what.
Kashmir will always be an dumbass ignorant ****er

AC/DC is so far from progressive its not even funny. But I agree, some ignorant person is gonna get confused, but its better than the mess we've got now.

its not too hard to comprehend. If you wanna post about a prog band, do it in the rock forum, if you wanna post about a classic rock band, do it in the rock forum. As long as you arent posting about these type of bands in the rap or country forum, nobody should get confused. Its when there is a specific forum for genres is when people start pulling the whole "thats not blah and blah, that should be in the blah and blah forum". Take a look at the emo and punk forums, everytime someone post a band, theres always some dumbass complaining about how thats not that genre and it should go somewhere else. By adding more subgenres than there already are is just asking for more of these types of posts.

Im sick of seeing.
"OmfG liek s1mpleznplanz the himz are t3h c00lestz punk bandz ever BAM 4 LIFE!!"
People that consider HIM and MCR punk should be told off.
So dont reffer to all people that do that as a "dumbass".
For hookers did it too before he went a sissy and became a mod.

I disagree. When you post about a classic rock band, then you get someone saying that classic rock sucks, its overrated, so on and so forth. Then you get someone praising slipknot, and classic rock fans cringing at it. It happens left and right. I think the fans of modern rock need to be separated from classic rock, period. It gets old having the same old arguments come up over and over and over. And then theres people who post a thread specific to classic rock discussion, and right away you get 2 people who post threads basically saying they dont like classic rock and its overrated, whats the point of that?

Fenixpunk 12-09-2005 10:24 PM

and you think that wont happen in a prog forum?
