Yeah, sure, the songs mostly sound the same. They're still a great band to see live. Even at this age. The dudes rock.

I think I like Rose Tattoo (another Aussie hard rock band) a bit better, though.

I never fully appreciated AC/DC until I began living in Germany and met this band called IC/DC which is an AC/DC tribute band.
All of them are German, and they play shows around Germany. I'd been in a band and they let us open for them in various pubs and we established a good rapport with them.
Great guys.
They're so professional, and I dunno how they do it, but they sound EXACTLY like AC/DC, down to the singer.
It's hard for me to distinguish the two beyond recording quality.

Out of all the tribute/cover bands I've ever heard/known... IC/DC is the best I've ever come across.

Search them. I got a demo from them after a show we played, but I'm still waiting for my shipment from Germany.

AC/DC are one of few bands where I know exactly what to expect from them but quite frankly couldn't give a toss because I'm probably gonna like it and I don't really find myself wanting anything else from them. I wouldn't have quite the same taste in music if it wasn't for AC/DC as their music helped mould it.

Were they better with Bon Scott? Yeah, probably but i think Brian Johnson gets a lot more stick than he deserves.

Brian and Bon are pretty close in sound (to me, anyways) that they seem the same anyways. Bon was bit more out there, though.

I don't think they have similar vocals. Brian's is more raspy and off-putting, Bon's goes with AC/DC's music alot better. That, and Brian's track record of good albums with AC/DC is like 1/10 while Bon's is like 7/10

AC/DC is pretty good, but their simplistic style can be grating after a couple songs

I actually agree with this but no one else ever seems to. I prefer Bon Scott and no two people are going to sound the SAME, especially when Bon Scott had such a distinctive voice but I think there are a lot of similarities between the two.
