And then I realized... like I was shot... like I was shot with a diamond... a diamond bullet right through my forehead. And I thought: My God... the genius of that. |

I didn't really read this thread but I'm sure it's full of stupid. When the question is asked "who's better" you look at who is more technical, has better songs, who's more creative, and all that jazz. With that being said, ANYONE who does not pick neil has either never heard rush play, seen them live, or are just plain retarded. Rush in general own most bands. They make really creative sounding and sometimes catchy songs. They have incredible lyrics in which Piert writes all of so he's got that going for him too. Last but not lest, Piert did a 20 minute drum solo when I saw them. Now you're thinking wow that would get boring. No. Not at all. In fact it was probably the most impressive thing I have ever seen ever. His set is so huge they have to lock him in it and he spun upside in mid solo for ****s sake.

True.... Better can be either subjective or objective depending on the topic... It could be subjective if it involves two bands and who makes better music, which is just opinion... But when it involves single musicians and their instrumental talents, than facts can be taken into consideration... And the question here is who's the better drummer, not which drummer is in the better band or which drummer is in a band that you like more... Objectively, Neil Peart is the more talented of the two, there's no denying that, and to deny that would be a foolish thing.
