Okay, this is what gets me..Why is everyone even attempting to comapre the two?? Led Zepplin= Blues driven rock The Who- classic rock..They were completly different..I don't know how you can compare the two...
and for Phisfood, Plant was a much better singer than daltry, although the Who had better songs. Pete was a abetter songwriter than Plant/Page. Bonham was indeed a better tedhnical drummer than Moon, but Moon had so much more charisma. I would say teh Who had more recognisable songs 'part from Zep's stairway to heaven. personally, I prefer the Who. But who's the better?? Who knows..There uncomaparble.. |

That's the problem with Stairway: it puts all the other great Zep songs in its shadow so no one pays attention to them. It's a great song, don't get me wrong, but there are so many other great songs, and some may say better than stairway.
