If the Rock Music Awards ended up coming back in 2023..
These are the nominees that would make the most sense to nominate for Best Rock Song, if the RMAs actually returned.
* Red Hot Chili Peppers - Black Summer * Muse - Won't Stand Down * Ghost - Mary On A Cross * Metallica - Master of Puppets * Kate Bush - Running Up That Hill (A Deal With God) * Nirvana - Something In The Way And yes it would make sense if half of the songs that would end up being nominated, would end up being songs that were released decades ago, especially since they all regained popularity in a significant way. |

doesnt it have to be song release in the same Calander year has the show ..????
unless the do a category best rock song in the last 70 years or something ..??? it would be hard to choose just 1 song but i would think a Beatles song has to be in the hat IMO |

No Beatles songs have regained in popularity during this year, so it wouldn't make sense to nominate any of their songs. |
