* Red Hot Chili Peppers - Black Summer
* Muse - Won't Stand Down
* Ghost - Mary On A Cross
* Metallica - Master of Puppets
* Kate Bush - Running Up That Hill (A Deal With God)
* Nirvana - Something In The Way

And yes it would make sense if half of the songs that would end up being nominated, would end up being songs that were released decades ago, especially since they all regained popularity in a significant way.

That could definitely be a neat idea. I've noticed that rock is really starting to make a come back. I'm sure a lot of people young and old would appreciate this

it would be hard to choose just 1 song but i would think a Beatles song has to be in the hat IMO

The Batman notably helped Something In The Way, regain in popularity. A similar thing of course happened with Running Up That Hill and Master of Puppets, which both were used in Stranger Things.

No Beatles songs have regained in popularity during this year, so it wouldn't make sense to nominate any of their songs.
