It's been suggested to that we might want to move this game over to SCD and start a new thread there. Seems fair, as the recent MB regulars have (as far as I can tell) mostly migrated over to that site, or at least the ones that have popped in to vote in this thread more than a few times.
Anyway, just wanted to check that nobody has a problem with this, including people who haven't participated for a few rounds but might be lurking still.
If nobody minds then, I imagine we'll be starting the next battle over on SCD, which means I will stop updating this thread in that event.
By the way, feel free to suggest what genres you would like to do next, as I haven't gotten around to doing the usual RNG schtick, but I imagine we'll settle the question of genres within the next few days and then get going again, wherever it may be

Sorry I haven't responded in a few days, had some left over uni assignments to attend to.

Based on your responses it's pretty much definite that we'll be doing this over on SCD as of the next battle. While I'm in the process of copying all the necessary information over though, here's the three randomly generated options for the next genre battle:
