I have the album, not sure if I listened to it or if I did, what I thought. There's a whole lot planned for this thread, and given that there's so much else in the pipeline at the moment (Alfred Hitchcock Presents v Tales of the Unexpected, anyone? History of Empires?) I can't definitively say yes, or even if yes when, but I'll consider it. So much good AOR (shut up everyone else other than music collector (hah! Almost wrote mucus collector! Ugh!) and maybe Plankton!) so little time...

Mucus? Well, I have two mucus collectors in the house. It's an easy mistake to make.

AOR is great. There is a ton of it out there. Like with any genre or era, there are a lot of releases that went completely overlooked. Many of those are diamonds in the rough. Native Sons is definitely one of those diamonds.

I know what you mean with the so little time bit. I wish we'd get on with the four day work week thing. I'd love it if I could declare Friday "I listen to the many discs I bought, finally" day.

I'm shocked that there's still new artists that could be considered AOR, I thought it was one of those genres that Nirvana killed for good.

Ah no: AOR is alive and well. Best artists these days coming out of Sweden and Norway, but it's still kicking.

Absolutely. There are still some good AOR acts out there, as well as some new ones. Frontiers might have the market cornered. Seemingly every week, they release some AOR stuff.

Rock Candy records has a big roster of AOR acts. Mind you, they're all older acts.
