Exclamation Black Sabbath vs Led Zeppelin

Both legendary bands (imo), both of their first six records were immense, and both of them have/had a lead singer with long hair.

Discussed a bit in the LZ4 thread but maybe deserves it's own thread so here it is.

Who is better?

No contest. Sabbath all the way. Sabbath created heavy metal, and for that I will always be grateful to them. Also, when did Plant ever bite the head off a bat? Not you, Batty, I hasten to add.

Seriously, what is this that stands before me vs there's a lady who's sure all that glitters is gold: which are you gonna pick? Pipers in hedges or devils standing at the bottom of your bed? And let's not forget the mini maestro, RJD RIP.

I checked who voted who and to date Zeppelin is winning with three banned members compared to Sabbath's two.

I have Sabbath at 22 and Zep at 21 all time on Freak Fighter so neck and neck with a tiny edge to LZ
